MISSION STATEMENT
The Healing Journey is a safe place where you will find peace, hope, and compassion to begin your journey, This will be done with the highest quality trauma-informed therapy to ensure our community can heal and move forward.
Not only do we provide health-based trauma therapeutic counseling for trauma survivors. The therapy provided is trauma-informed care that deals directly with identifying trauma and assisting the client in moving forward in the healing process. We also provide ABA therapy services by using a systematic approach to changing behavior, improve social skills, and quality of life done by a licensed ABA therapist.
Services
Trauma is the body's response to a difficult event that was not able to be overcome naturally. A traumatic event can be anything from a fall, fight, car accident, natural disaster, illness, bullying, betrayal, and even prolonged stress. These events become emotional and psychological attachments that can affect our everyday life in a negative way.
Skills training services for children are designed to help children develop essential life skills, social abilities, and coping mechanisms to improve their overall functioning and quality of life. These services often focus on children with behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges and are provided in various settings, including schools, clinics, and community centers.
